Workplace Violence - Individual Response Training
When most people think or consider Workplace Violence, this term evokes images of an armed, disgruntled employee, customer or estranged spouse who attacks and shoots selectively or indiscriminately at employees, supervisors and managers. According to the Workplace Violence Research Institute, workplace violence is any act against an employee that creates a hostile work environment and negatively affects the employee, either physically or psychologically. These acts range from threats, intimidation and other forms of verbal harassment to physical assaults and much worse.
ESP provides a proactive approach for such worse case scenarios. Our unarmed defense against weapons training program is specifically designed for these types of threats and workplace incidents. This program will address unarmed defense solutions for firearms, shotguns, rifles, assault weapons and edged weapons.
