Transcribe and analyze verbal communications.
Perform document exploitation. Scan, research, and analyze foreign language documents for key information.
Provide language instruction or translation for private corporations in various environments of operation.
Provide cultural recommendations concerning regional customs and courtesies.
Position will work in either a government setting or a corporate environment.
While performing the duties of this job, sometimes the employee will regularly work in outside weather conditions and/or non-air-condition buildings. The employee can be exposed to hot, dry conditions and occasionally exposed to wet conditions.
Pay is either by each assignment or full time depending on the project.
Roundtrip airfare to home of record is paid for during breaks.
All meals and accomodations are covered during any travel assignments.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience – Graduate of the Defense Language Institute with a recent (within 2 years) DLPT of 3+/3 or higher or a 3+/3 on the Interagency Language Roundtable. (not a requirement but is a plus)
Must be a high school graduate (minimum) and/or possess language skills due to naturalization of that specific region.
Must be able to read, write and speak moderate to fluently the language of the specified region.
Military schools and private educational backgrounds are a plus.
Must have knowledge of a variety of related computer software applications.
Ability to create and maintain administrative databases
Must have the ability to obtain an active Interim Secret clearance if necessary.
Must have no felony or domestic violence convictions.
Record of recent recurring misdemeanors may adversely impact candidates' suitability rating.
Must pass all background checks with NO WAIVERS.
Must have a valid U.S. Driver's license, passport of specified nation or proper government papers.
Must be willing to undergo an extensive criminal background check, and drug screening.
